  • That PRG NOTE THE UPDATE TO FINDINGS FROM THE FINANCIAL BENCHMARKING SURVEY). ####### Background( The financial benchmarking survey collects data on staffing numbers costs profits etc., used in NDIS cost model monitoring market failures or opportunities future deregulation.). Participation criteria are outlined as well along with details about Deloitte’s role designing fielding questions utilized staff base rates hours worked utilisation revenue expenses). Initial period covered responses Ability Roundtable formed basis May NDIA report published website additional re-opened June total sample size providers discussed at attachment final report not yet publically available.

Comparison with Assumptions in the NDIS DSW Cost Model:

Cost model permanent employment rate utilisation overhead margin span of control assumptions 70* and varies on dsw level 80 to 92(varies on dsw level) define as proxy for efficiency: generally represents by lower than median values.

Provider Size State Remoteness Analyses

Some findings from further analyses conducted are listed below noting further analysis can be found attachment A. a large providers had average more per cent staff small providers b large providers had higher utilisation c larger providers have a higher overheads d remote providers mmm 6 -m-7 had an average overheads e direct cost did not vary significantly across states (allocating provider state where they received highest revenue).
