My name my adult granddaughter participant She born range disabilities acquired others years Her disability includes severe intellectual blindness a physical epilepsy has severe harming behaviors fully incontinent requires someone give her medication provide support while she eats so that does not choke.She needs care times.At moment mum provides most her care while her dad works family financially are unable any support live over hours away.Without funds social & community support risk harm sense danger falls risk, no longer able attend therapy keeps mobile lose connection local community won’t be able visit friends or family can’t leave home do essential things (such shopping food picking up life saving medication will have increase self-harming behaviours.The emotional and strain on mum dad already present cutting funding make worse.I ask you reconsider/vote against blanket proposal cut across participants get out into Community look at individuals which was intent of NDIs.
