National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

Submission 2002

Submission on the NDIS Amendment Bill

redacted:

I am a Disabled person with friends, community members and clinicians who are disabled.

My main concern about this Bill is the increased use of administrative or automated systems,

Changes to reassessments and plan reviews,

Changes to how funding for supports can be adjusted,

Increased administrative and compliance requirements and “not contactable”

Participant Engagement Rules.

This bill will affect those that we support due its imposition tight communication response times frames during crises or changing circumstance, reduced flexibilities in decision making regarding supports.

and make the system less flexible in its responding to individual circumstances The level

of human review in decision-making processes. It will also give more expectations to respond to requests from the NDIA .All these things are not support or appropriate way to treat disabled people who need care.

What I want the committee to understand is that disabled people even with NDIS supports are still suffering and struggling.Making the NDIA/ndis more difficult for disabled people to access support IS NOT THE ANSWER. My Position On This bill

I Do Not Support IT AND HAVE SERIOUS CONCERNS Because the increased Use Of Administrative Or Automated Systems , Changing To Funding And Compliance Requirements ON THe Disabled Community Who Are Already Vulnerable And Need SUPPORT.
