Freedom of Information request — Notification of Decision
I refer to correspondence conducted between 26 and 28 July 2023, in which you requested data held by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act).
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with a decision on your request.
Scope of your request The above referenced communications are available on the Right to Know. In response to your initial request for information, you were provided with reference to where data is made available. The NDIA makes significant amounts of data available to the public and provides contacts for further data or assistance with available information.
You have insisted that your request be processed under the FOI Act.
Decision on access to documents I am authorised to make decisions under section 23(1) of the FOI Act. My decision on your request and the reasons for my decision are set out below.
Section 17(1)(c) of the FOI Act provides that an agency can produce a written document containing the requested information, by the use of a computer or other equipment that is ordinarily available for retrieving or collating stored information.
We have referred your request to officers in the NDIA who were able to produce a document containing some of the information you requested. They have produced a document that satisfies 17(1)(c) of the FOI Act.
I have decided to grant access to 1 document in full.
