Viewing Impairment Categories In A Participant’s Profile

Confirming If Impairments Are Assigned For An Individual

From their ‘Person Account’, navigate:

  • Select My Profile. Select and confirm if they have any listed under Impairment Categories (if not applicable message is shown then no further action needed). If there are impairments assigned proceed with step four otherwise end process as per instructions provided above. To see what kind you can go through these options depending on your need: Active approved impairment category -> Section “View The Active Approved Impairment” Declined or unassessed impairment category -> Section “Understand Decline And Not Assesed” Historical decisions related to previous approvals -> Section ‘Historical Decisions’

Reviewing Active Approved Impairment Category Details

In this section, review active approved categories within each stream separately i.e., Disability (Section #) & Early Intervention (#). Each table will show all relevant details of those specific streams’ approval status including hyperlinks for more detailed information regarding decision outcomes or source cases.

Section 3.3: View and Understand Declined & Not Assessed Impairment Categories

  • In Impairment Categories tab navigate to menu Declined or Not Assessed Impairment Categories.
    • Select either:
      • Menu under Disability (Section 24) or
      • Menu under Early Intervention (Section 25). to display impaired categories assessed but declined, as well as those not considered or assessed yet displayed within a heading called “Not Assessed Impairments” category list.` * To see more details on specific decisions related to these declines click hyperlinks found inside column labeled ‘Decision Outcome’. This will open relevant decision detail into new tabs.
      • For full decision cases, select links from columns titled 'Decision Source Case'.

Historical Impairment Category Review

Open menus for historical impairments categorized per disability section ((section))and early intervention (section) respectively. All impairment categories with an end date are shown; this indicates their active status has ended due removal or overturned original decline. Note that both sections share one table listing all such conditions ordered by type of impairment starting intellectually through physical disabilities including psychosocial ones. Developmental delays also appear in the same order listed above. To review initial decisions before they were finalized use hyperlink located at Decision Outcomes column which opens detailed information about each case’s start and end dates. The term ‘decision outcome’, refers specifically towards primary approval results rather than finalization of any given condition itself. In instances where internal reviews apply follow instructions provided under respective hyperlink selections. For comprehensive view regarding entire case history associated directly linked via source case selection, click corresponding link within Decision Source Case column.
