Understand the disabilities tab

Step-by-step guide for viewing participants’ disability data:

  • From Person Account, navigate through My Profile.
  • Selecting Disabilities will display relevant details about their condition(s).
  • Click on “View All” if you need more comprehensive listings.

#4 Understanding the Information in the Disability Record 1.Select the link in the Name column to view the disability record for each Assessed Impairment. The disability record will display.

ICD Disability Code:

ICD Disability Code is used as a common term describing medical conditions associated with disabilities and should be provided when submitting an application under the National Disability Scheme (NDS).

Verified Indicator Checkbox:

This checkbox at Verified Indicator can only be ticked by access delegates or NPSTs after receiving verified evidence from treating professionals confirming that they are aware their details were checked, which means there’s no need further action on this matter unless additional clarification needed regarding specific circumstances related to individual cases.

Next Steps

  • If you don’t need to request or make any updates to the participants’ disabilities, you do not have to follow these steps. End process.

  • If: The participants’ disabilities require an updating: o You are an access delegate/review officer/planner/delegate planner, you can make this change and go on with Step 3.o Otherwise (if your role is different), you should submit for changes via Article Request a Participant disability change. Note: If impairment categories information has been issued to them, but they also want their disabilities updated as well, first use article Request participant’s disability change then proceed using article Create vary impairments case.
