Sub-Theme(s): Manual Wheelchairs and power wheelchairs

This advice support tool also supports advices relating to the following requests:

  • For Manual wheelchairs (MWC) this will include:
    • Power assist devices (PAD) – front or rear attachments, within the wheels, joystick or dial, partially or fully assist.
    • Features such as tilt (common), elevating leg rests (rare), standing (rare).
    • Wheels
    • Car hoist
    • Harnesses and other
  • For power wheelchair (PWC) this will include:
    • Power seat features: tilt, anterior reach, elevate, recline, elevating leg rests and standing.
    • Attendant control including a “scoot”
    • Driving systems such as chin control
    • Transport solutions other than vehicle mods
    • Harnesses and other
