Matter For Noting:
Price Guide And Support Catalogue Changes
Purpose To inform PRG about changes needed within NDIS’s price guide & catalogue, dated June/July ’18.
####### Recommendations: a.) Update references and links related to Doctor Connect to align with new Health Workforce Locators; b.) Content updates specifically targeting SIL Providers using updated templates for content management systems, c.) General improvements in ECEI sections. d.) Adjustments made regarding registration groups alignment per descriptions listed under NDIS Commission guidelines; e) Removing price limits set previously but now lifted due to market conditions or other factors affecting costs associated directly linked services such as personal care fees etc., f) Removal of quote functions from nine AT support line items necessitating decommissioned nine existing items while creating replacements accordingly.

It is used to distinguish between seven different MMM zones based on location; it helps service delivery providers determine correct loading support they are delivering. The Department recently replaced ‘DoctorConnect’ webpage updated version tool called Health Workforce Locator.’ still retains same functionality as Doctor Connect, but has slightly interface difference reclassified some rated areas: a Warren NSW dataset listed as MMM zone 5 in 2015 dataset recategorized as MMZ Zone six in current year dataset. Health Workforce was released on date when NDIS Price Guide published June month year. Refer Version Control Attachment A.

Section 6.1:
The previous and existing Support Catalogue contain additional text or variations in Registration Groups that are outlined within NDIS Provider Guide to Suitability. Many providers have raised queries regarding those variances; investigation conducted Price Controls Team compared naming conventions with registration groups.
Section 6.2:
For clarity purposes, support catalogue will aim aligning register group name convention as per NDIS Commission outline table below affected registration names which amended.

Discussion - Recommendation (b)
Remove price limits Establishment Fee Personal Care/Community Access.
Subsection: Current Price Guide version refers to an establishment fee personal care community access, this is claimable by provider who assists participant with implementation NDIS plan delivers minimum hours per month personal care /community access supports has agreement supply these services.
Subsubsection: A budget $750 included first plan participants case they need assistance from providers design implement arrangements.

Discussion – Recommendation 2.2 c)
Remove quote function for nine Assistive Technology AT) support lines.
Subsection A:
The catalog contains nine AT support lines needing removal/replacement (new codes). Their nature shifts from Quotable Fixed. This is an implementation change after discussion on business areas post-July 1st updates agreed upon at May PRG meetings, since previously made decisions are better reflected here as intended assistance. The catalog highlights these changes per Section B’s version control.
Discussion - Recommendation d)
as per agreement with PRG meeting on June 6th, certain items align to a specific limit and description update needed.

These were overlooked during previous updates but now need updating NDIS systems and the catalog reflecting this decision.
Discussion-Recommendation e)
eight ECEI support line descriptions amended based requests clarifying early childhood intervention space needs no change of offered supports. catalogue highlighting these changes follows Section B’s version controls.
Discussion–Recommendation f)
another name clarification requested regarding Orthotic Footwear Prefabricated combining two decommissioned items creates confusion among suppliers due replacement using above item may be clarified via Support Line Item Description Update.
