Cost Model for Disability Support Workers(DSWs)

  • (A) -The agency recently released its DSW cost model, which uses ‘efficient costs’ based on data from surveys conducted with benchmarking methods. The TTP is designed over five years transitional period to bring prices into line with average provider efficiency, much like an NDIS group support system that includes additional administration time when delivering group-based services and a six-minute per hour assumption for each participant’s face-to-face service within groups. B - Most survey results are small or outdated; therefore it would be beneficial if these assumptions were examined further as they may not accurately represent organizations involved.
