This article provides guidance for a local area coordinator, early childhood partner and all NDIS staff (planner delegate, payments officer, internal review delegate, complaints officer, participant support officer, access delegate, technical advisors, National Contact Centre, liaison officers (HLO/JLO), complex support needs (CSN) planner, national reassessment delegate) to:

2 Before you start
You have:
a participant profile in PACE that requires an appointment booking.SGP KP Publishing – Make an appointment booking in PACE
3 Make an appointment booking in PACE
Once a participant’s record has transitioned to PACE, any appointment bookings must be recorded in PACE. The process to make an appointment booking in PACE may vary depending on the case type.
Note: You’ll need to check staff availability, resource availability, interpreters, and fleet bookings when booking all appointment types.
Community connections, early supports, plan change and internal review appointment bookings
To make an appointment booking in PACE:
- Record any contact attempts with the participant or authorised representative. Refer to article Log an activity or internal note.
- Select New Event.
- Record the following information: o People o Start Date and Time o End Date and Time o Subject o Description free text field if applicable o Type o Location o Interpreter required?
- Select Save. After you have scheduled an appointment using the above process:
- Select Email.
- Complete required fields.
- Select Send.
Enquiry appointment bookings
To make an appointment booking in PACE:
- Record any contact attempts with the participant or authorised representative. Refer to article Log an activity or internal note.
- Select New Meeting.
- Record the following information: o People o Name (participant or authorised representative) o Type o Subject o Start Date and Time o End Date and Time o Location o Description free text field if applicable

o Interpreter required? 4. Select Save. After you have scheduled an appointment using the above process: 5. Select Email. 6. Complete required fields. 7. Select Send.
Booking MS Teams
You won’t be able to book an MS Teams meeting in PACE. You’ll need to create an appointment in Outlook and create an MS Teams link. Copy the link into the Location field in the appointment you book in PACE. You must also include the link in the Description free text field of the email you send to the participant or authorised representative.
Email Templates
Email Templates for appointment bookings aren’t available in PACE, use your existing Outlook email templates. Copy and paste into the Description field of the appointment you book in PACE.
