Scope
Information in relation to how many participants under 18 years old are currently in SDA funded by the NDIS. How many participants under 18 and receiving SIL or ILO funding from the NDIS.
The costs for having a participant under 18 years of age in SDA, SIL or ILO respectively, please advise highest cost, lowest costs and average cost for each of SDA, SIL and ILO separately.
Response
As of 30 September 2023, there were:
(1) There are 41 active participants aged under 18 with SDA supports in their current plans. The highest, lowest, and average annualised plan budgets are $1,596,400, $35,600 and $835,100 respectively (rounded to the nearest hundred dollars).
(2) There are 119 active participants aged under 18 with SIL supports in their current plans. The highest, lowest, and average annualised plan budgets are $1,634,100, $14,700 and $693,300 respectively (rounded to the nearest hundred dollars).
(3) There are 66 active participants aged under 18 with ILO supports in their current plans. The highest, lowest, and average annualised plan budgets are $1,628,200, $6,300 and $97,400 respectively (rounded to the nearest hundred dollars).
