Add assistive technology capacity building supports in a plan

The content of this document is OFFICIAL. This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) will support you to add funding for capacity building Low Cost, Mid Cost and High Cost assistive technology (AT) supports.

Add Capacity Building supports

1. In Planning – Staff Tasks, select the Determine the Funded Supports task.
2. The Determine the Support Needs form will open. Select Capacity Building.

3. The two capacity building sub-types appear. Select Capacity Building.

1. Include funding in CB Daily Activity at budget level to assess, source and set up all of the participant’s AT supports. The amount of reasonable and necessary capacity building supports will be different for each participant. As a minimum, you need to include $500.00 or $700.00 for participant’s living in remote or very remote areas.

Note: To include funding at budget level you increase the amount of funding in the CB Daily Activity Price field (highlighted below) by the amount of funding. This means that you do not use support items to add funding.
