In terms of what disability is included in the ‘autism’ primary disability group, user will be able to obtain this information from another CSV file (Participants count by diagnosis data (CSV 256KB)) from the data download section in our public NDIS website.
b) The amount paid in the last 12 months for early intervention participants, where the primary disability is Autism Spectrum Disorder, for the following services: a. Speech Pathology b. Occupational Therapy c. Art Therapy d. Music Therapy
NB: If it is not possible to provide the total amount paid across different support types for these therapies, the total amount paid for these services as part of ‘Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living’ is requested.
The NDIA does not hold statistics on payments specific to early intervention participants in our existing reporting. We have a table of active participant split by early intervention / permanent disability in Table E.1 in Quarterly Report Appendix E (see below) but not payments.
c) Any operational guidance on the inclusion of the following therapies in participants plans (regardless of primary disability): a. Tomatis Method b. Auditory Integration Therapy c. Sound Therapy
The NDIA currently holds no operational guidelines for the requested therapies.
