eI am finding so hard to get Assistive Technology for my needed.

About myself.

I am Vision and Hearing Impaired. I was born profound deafness. Vision Impared – I have RP. I have a Seeing Eye Dog. I am on a blind pension. I live on my own. Not easy for me to have dual disability.

• I needed OrCam My Eye2. Reason – I can’t see print/text in writing, can’t see and read book, letters, document, newspaper, menu and so on. I live on my own. Because of my eyesight and hearing I am having a problem telling people’s face and colour. I was born profound deafness. Since I had my two Cochlear Implants. I shocked how much I missed out of English and the meaning of the words. I am still finding so hard to saying a word because I haven’t heard the words in my life. I noticed new words and I am still learning. I truly needed OrCam My Eye2 to help me to improve my English, saying a word, help me listening to and to improve more skills. My Goal is to be more independent when I am at home and an outing able to listening to OrCam My Eye2. An excellent communication and listen for me.

NOW, I am having a problem getting OrCam My Eye2.

Use separately or in various combinations to achieve the best and most flexible cooking arrangements giving you independence in the kitchen, cooking up a storm.

For me. I needed talking microwave, grills and convention oven. I was told by the planner. I have to get another OT to put all the stickers on items. I know it will be more confusing me and I might use the wrong button if far too many stickers on the microwave, wall oven and grills. Not good for Vision impaired and not good for safely issue. In the past I burned food in the new microwave oven I pressed the wrong button. My smoke alarm went off my next door who came over to see if I am ok. After happened I have to get another microwave because smell burned of smoke. I already have two stickers on the button just to start and stop button. I can’t see the prints on all kitchen items. I stopped using the grill because I have to leave the grill door down while cooking I kept hitting my side/corner of my body which hurt. I have to be very careful with the wall oven when I open the hot

door and put down without hitting it. For my safely issue the talking grill and the door will open out after cooked.

My Goal. To be able to be more function and cooking in the kitchen. Able to use grill which is lot healthier to cook food. Less fear for me and less hurting myself and overcooks the food. More independence and daily living.

NOW, I am having a problem getting Cobolt Talking Convection Microwave Oven

3.Talking induction portable hot plate is lot safety than hot plate. I needed a Talking Double Induction Hob Speak description At last, all the advantages of Induction Cooking made available with the inclusion of speech, in our new Double Induction Hob Unit. It is extremely safe, very fast, easy to clean and compact. Very simple to operate, cooking can be done by selecting either power level or temperature. A timer is also included to enable the hob to turn off after a preset period. The hob is warm after use, but not hot, removing any danger of the user burning themselves. The hob turns off immediately when a pan is removed. All functions are spoken in a clear, male, English voice. The controls have a good tactile feel and the hob has a smooth wipe clean surface. Pans used must contain Iron and a magnet is. Which I don’t have one. Power 2,800W (split between the hobs) - Size 60cm(L) x 36cm(W) x 6cm(H)

About me. I live on my own. I needed for my safely issues and function in the kitchen. Will be so awesome not to burn my hand, burn food and will be less fear. I can enjoy knowing if I spill any food won’t burn or touch the hot plate won’t hurt my hand. I love the ides it will turn off If a person knocks or lift the saucepan or frypan will turn itself off for safety issue. Good idea it is a talking and an excellent equipment for Blind and Vision Impaired people.

My Goal To give me better quality of life to help me around the kitchen. To improve my life and be more independent able to cook food in safe environment.

Now there seem lot of electric applicants are not suitable for Vision and Blind people.

Assistive technology. Now and in the future. It is very important to me to make life easy than to struggle without talking devices. Talking devices in the kitchen I needed very badly for my Safely. Whether it be equipment, aids or gadgets inside the house and an outing I needed. For me to use that allow me to have better independence, communication, my daily living, a better quality of life and function.

Please, needed to help for all the people who are Vision and Blind Impaired who are in needed of help with Assistive technology.
