I am extremely concerned that the changes to the NDIS will have adverse effects on all participants.

The NDIS staff/decision makers do not have the qualifications and lived experience of the challenges disabled people and their families face each day. This bill does not ensure choice and control stays with the participant.

There is no transparent path and timelines for reviews. Reviews are necessary when professionals reports are completely overridden by NDIs staff that do not have the professional expertise to do so.

We need to rid the NDIS system of staff they do not need such as LAQs and allow us to talk directly to the deision maker regarding our plans.
