I would like to include my aversion to 2 of the amendments being proposed for the NDIA.

LIMITS ON SUPPORTS AND SPENDING and PUNITIVE MEASURES. I feel that both these points are self serving when the people accessing the supports, aren’t actually included in the decisions being made. contract was renewed by the NDIS through his coordinator from BAPTCARE, who we have never met, and has only been his coordinator for 3 months before renewing the submission with no input from , which also means neither him or I signed the contract.

The changes Limits on Supports and Spending bring means someone who has never met, never assessed and is unfamiliar with a client can just arbitrarily remove supports or cut the funding.

Punitive Measures can be put onto a client, even if they themselves have never signed the contract. This gives me Robodebt feelings. The system is easily manipulated by the people SUPPOSEDLY providing the funding.
