A comprehensive co-design approach to the drafting of the rules and to the development of an accompanying Transition Engagement Plan for implementation is undertaken.

Annual Reporting

I note the Bill includes amendments to enable the Commonwealth Ombudsman to report annually on the NDIA’s performance against the PSG and requires the Ombudsman’s report to be tabled in Parliament. It would be useful for the NDIA’s response to the Ombudsman’s annual report be provided to the Disability Reform Ministers’ Meeting to inform discussions.
