Please consider this email a formal submission by me to the Senate Standing Committee on Community Affairs Inquiry into the National Disability Insurance Scheme Bill 2012.

The current disability system has many problems that need to be addressed.

By Having the NDIS it will be a lot easier for everyone

The main features of the NDIS that will make a difference to the community are:

• Ensure support and equipment is available when needed, The ability to receive services when needed and in the way that suits the person, People with disability/family will influence the types of support and services offered

The most important services for the NDIS to provide are:

-Support for families and carers, -In-home care and domestic assistance, -Case management, planning and coordination

I support the introduction of the NDIS.

If there is a central localion with all the opions and contact so people do not have to hunt around would be good as well being able to contact one body who has most of the answers would make life a bit easier.We need to have a central system so it is the same accross Australia
