Committee on Community Affairs Inquiry into the National Disability Insurance
Scheme Bill 2012.
The current disability system has many problems that need to be addressed.
well I think its the nature of a person with a disability and I have a friend who thinks she won.t get it because of her disability she has been in a wheelchair since her birth she has good mobility and I think she should be entitled to it it should be a cover in case you have to go to hospital or in a case of a accident of some sort to make an impact of people with disabilities I think the NDIS should consider all aspects of life of people living with a disability and their families so they can provide some extra care for their son or daughter and mostly importantly their drive for independence or a group home situation let the person or persons make that decision if it is through technology or sign language or any other communication they have a voice to be heard let them have it for everybody living in Australia Australia counts
The main features of the NDIS that will make a difference to the community are:
More opportunities to participate in the community, People with a disability can plan their lives and pursue their goals and dreams, Minimising the number of times people have to tell their story in order to get support
The most important services for the NDIS to provide are:
Education support (technology/services/equipment), Support for families and carers, Crisis and emergency support
I support the introduction of the NDIS.
I support them 100% to support the NDIS cover for anything like services to the community or at home we need to be part of the community and been seen for doing out support to the Australian counts
