It’s good that the NDIS costs a lot! It’s good that it’s growing quickly! That means that people are being helped, and getting the support they need. The recent cuts to the NDIS have impacted my community significantly. Because of them, my friend was not able to buy a new wheelchair, and was stuck with a broken one until they were able to fundraise. Further cuts to the NDIS would do even more damage to Australians in need. NDIS supports are already very difficult to access. Continuing to make cuts would be nothing short of cruelty.
