NDIS Changes

To whom It may concern

I am very concerned about the proposed changes to the NDIS and the slashing of social and community funding. My daughter is 28 years and has a permanent lifelong intellectual and physical disability since birth. She will never be able to drive or live independently.

She requires services to help her:

  • get to appointments,
  • do her weekly shopping and banking
  • attend disability cooking at Tafe
  • exercise safely to keep her mobility from getting worse
  • attend disability sport

She will be limited in being able to do these activities if the changes go through.

I agree that changes need to happen in the NDIS but not to people that have permanent disabilities and need it the most.
