NDIS Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

I am [redacted], a friend of [redacted] who has Cri du Chat syndrome. [Redacted]’s NDIS plan covers social and community participation budget for day program attendance and speech therapy; my friend lives at home cared-for by their family providing care through the NDIS-funded activities which give them high quality life but I’m concerned this bill would mean they could no longer enjoy these activities giving her so much enjoyment & connection.
