National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

Submission 1419 I am a 22yo disabled woman living in regional Western Australia.

• Need support with showering and verbal communication.- Object to the Bill: want choice over providers; do NOT want random strangers touching me when needing help;- This repugnant; The NDIS shouldn’t decide who provides my supports. Thought Minister lacks experience/knowledge about disability making key decisions: Totally stupid! Also angry taking part in Disablity Royal Commision, telling stories were invasive/traumatic- Reforms ignoring recommendations of DRC,- Bill disgustingly proposes life changes for us-disabled folks. Total rejection! Horrible government dictating our lives & needs without asking us first. Feel like a monkey at a circus—jump commands given.
