I’m a burnt out carer and I ask to the supporters of this bill change what is the purpose of establishing a system designed to assist individuals with disabilities if it becomes nearly impossible to obtain support? What is the rationale behind a system that increases the burden on families? Why create a system that makes it difficult for those in need to access it while providing it without restriction to those who do not require it? Why overhaul an entire system only to disadvantage those who genuinely need assistance instead of addressing the issues faced by those who exploit it?

What is the value of a system that fails to consider accessibility, support, or the specific needs of individuals?
