the current supports she has outside of the family home and her aggression and behaviour in school would be so much worse.

Explain to me how removing such supports shown to have a positive impact is the right thing for children like this? My child is Autistic level 2 so despite these extreme behaviours your government is set to remove her supports to a state program that doesn’t even exist where the premier has already said supports will not and cannot be funded like for like.Autistic level 2 with co existing anxiety, adhd and PDA just to make the combination of traits more complicated. We live in a constant state of stress and fear in my family not knowing when to expect the next outburst. My younger child is scared of their sibling due to the behaviour and violence and now is incredibly anxious themselves which is having an effect on their own schooling and peer relationships.I see taking away supports that build confidence assist the child’s ability to regulateand learn about their emotions so that they can attend school normally and receive an educationis vile. The supports have meant that as parents we can just get by day todaily emotionally We don’tseea cent from thenDIS any fundingweve had goes directlytosupports who are all NDIS registered practitioners Withoutthesupportsa sfamilywecough up $190 per weekfor OT$200afortnightforypsychology,$3500per year fobehaviour supportands400perterm forspeech therapy Ontopofour regularout ofpocket expenses toseethe paediatrician andaediatric psychiatrist too adjust medications orget prescriptionswhich I might addmedications cost us $200 pertonight Asafamily where bothparents work full time insalesanda childcare wenearenotwealthy peopleWearetetypepeopleLabor saysasa party yousupport but this couldn’tc furtherfromthetruth.Wewillno be able afford these services privatelyso ourchild will go without whicht makesus feel deserted a scapegoated for thosewhodidn ’tdo therightthingbythenNDIS. as now ex Labor voters were appalleddon’twave words exclam how disgustedwere in agovernment would treat its vulnerablethis way Other family members suchas grandparents, aunt and uncles see whatwegothroughday to day are of the same opinionand likely change their votes away fro Labortoo being asdisgusted we arereally hopeyou are proud yourselves all thought has gone into punishingthese families participantshow do it It speaks loud clearwhere Albanese governments morals at.I want my voice heard constituent parent advocating an autistic child The next election cannot come soon enoughfor myselfmyfamily directvotes elsewhere.
