National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have only just been made aware of the extent of the drastic changes to the NDIS Amendment Bill 2026. Giving this limited time, the general public — especially people struggling due to disability – had no chance at responding; it’s unfair! The proposed amendment will make life even harder on those needing help from NDIS while taking away their voice or hope about government care towards all Australians! Don’t weaken these most worthy individuals who already struggle enough dealing daily challenges related disabilities cannot wash away easily. *Support shopping food *support doing basic household jobs …etc., inclusion & acceptance understanding each need is personal & real. All needs are hard but fear being cut off without support should not add another burden they must deal with. Getting doctors/specialists needed threatened by this bill too; these few issues reflect my response given short notice and how presented publicly.
