I have recently become increasingly concernedwiththedirectionoftheNDISPforthefollowingreasons:
- Discrimination:HearingaboutaportionofNDISparticipantspotentiallybeingejected fromaccesstothenDIS - Funding cuts:Buidlingcapacityandindependencerequiresascertainamountoff assistance, andoftenforextendedperiodasprogresscanbeprotracted.Cuts to fundingmayseeldelaysinbuildingamongthesdisabledpopulationorworse livesatrisk. PerceptionsOfAustralia:TheNDSahassofarbeaninitiativewitnanoverall positiveimpactfopplowithedisabilitiesaroundAustralia.Thepotentialupcoming changesmaysaeastepbackwardshere.
