I have a granddaughter on the Autism Spectrum who would love to work but cannot do that now, and many friends in Western Australia are disabled ordinary citizens trying hard every day to live life as dignifiedly possible under current circumstances; AND all we get from them is being steamrolled by a bunch of well-paid politicians making punitive decisions from their privileged seats while sitting comfortably back home. This is just plain UN AUSTRALIAN! It’s not what our country stands up against!

Whatever happened with fairness? Whatever happened when looking after people instead punishing them because they exist? If Labor pushes ahead this Bill then I will forget my vote and reject it outright — it’s cruel; it betrays values which stand firm here. redacted
