My name is [redacted] and although I sent a previous submission, this is a supplementary submission. I explained my life in detail in the previous submission.I am autistic with bipolar. Believe that proposed bill will change do great harm to people disabilities hope it will be passed. Am opposed because: Concerning some losing may die suicide without their supports. don’t believe this bill save government money but shift costs other departments hospital system put more pressure families particularly women husband also position quit work assume full time caring role forcing many Centrelink poverty. some people assessed therapeutic relationship allied health professionals trained specific disability ICAN assessment lack insight into condition articulate issues someone know. is scared being assessed people not have therapeutic relationship with who are not allied health professionals trained specifically disabled while liked ICAN assessment lacks insight to fully articulate conditions others don’t understand. could cause strain marriage as could not work full-time informal support parents used supported now Dad Carer mother dementia wouldn’t get doctors appointments grocery shop mostly housebound when husband at work For information about how autism affect daily please see first submission. in autonomy mind body.
