I am a chronically ill individual with an autoimmune condition. I am in and out of hospital fairly regularly as an inpatient and outpatient and I am extremely aware of my disabled peers who wish to spend as little time taking up space on hospital as is required. This is best for their mental and physical wellbeing as well as the strain on resources and funding of the hospitals themselves! It NDIS is cut then it takes away the key dignity of people living with a disability as it hinders their ability to be independent and live for themselves. But practically, it’s space they will inevitably be having to take up in hospitals and other medical spaces when they inevitably crash or have a flare because they do not have the support they need
