Some of the changes proposed in the legislation would mean many people have NDIS supports taken away when they have no other alternative. For others, they may have alternative supports, such as carers in the family; however, this role is primarily women meaning it places disabled people vulnerable with less self-advocacy. It limits independence among these women terms being employed rather than caring roles.
