NDIA underfunds care and restricts changes unnecessarily.
NDIA habitually underruns reasonable necessary care which forces participants apply change circumstances despite their extreme condition remaining basically same. This proposed legislation will make things worse without protecting people permanent significant disability such our son strongly oppose harsh curtailment applying unless there ‘significant’ change highly vulnerable people impacted greatly any circumstance word needs deleted from bill also oppose Minister arbitrary power reducing funding Community involvement action interests procedural fairness must include Parliamentary oversight have found dealing with NDIA prove everything again degree often ignored obtaining internal review futile simply Caesar appealing Caeser Only when take matter independent ART start listen really alarms us current proposed Bill that Minister and NDIA given greater powers corresponding checks balances placing participant at even greater risk harm disadvantage critical is no conditions placed on vulnerable participant may impede easy quick appeal genuinely INDEPENDENT entity such as ART In addition this Bill must include an onus ONDIA rejecting or downgrading a participant’s Plan clearly explicitly detail give cogent reasons rather than present giving arbitrary generalised reply urge you continue support people with permanent significant disability spirit in commendably designed reject venal elements of this Bill debases participants target fraud rorting meaningful way unfairly targeting defenceless participants
