My name is . I live in Melbourne and am studying. I currently access the DSP and NDIS. As a participant of the NDIS, I am deeply concerned about the proposed changes and new NDIS bill. I oppose it.
The NDIS has meant freedom and access. It has meant support and made my life easier. I live with multiple psychosocial, neurological and physical conditions that mean I am permanently disabled.
These changes risk these supports for me and many others. I am worried about the long term costs this will cause and the distress this will cause. This could kill people.
The Bill is harmful and should not be passed in its current form.
