To Whom it May Concern My concern is that this bill is being rushed without due consideration of how the new regulations will impact individual clients. I also understand that any rights of appeal are to be further limited.

I wish to bring to your attention, as an example, the case of , who is an elderly client, benefitting from NDIS services since 2017. I am acquainted with , as a friend of his family. has a serious intellectual disability, with autism, is non- verbal, and has the capacity of a young child. Currently he has 24 hour one to one supervision and, should this be reduced, as proposed, he would be in great danger from himself. Leaving unsupervised would be similar to leaving a 3 year old child unsupervised. Can this be justified in the cause of cost cutting?

I am sure that will not be the only NDIS client who would be impossibly impacted by the proposed changes and I ask that more consideration be given to individual cases. I understand the need for cost cutting, but I request that more time be given to this process to avoid dire consequences for our most vulnerable people.
