Firstly; The bill itself has not allotted for appropriate time for communities, businesses ,organizers, paiiicipants Etc ; To be notified or respond to these changes.Secondly;the provisionswithinthisbill clearly indicatea marked shift ideologyregardingNDISaswhole.Fromthenewdefinitionof’functionalcapacity’totheadmendmentsmadetothet ‘eligibility test’ thisthisbillsputqualityandcarelife disabledpeopleat riskactively takes bodily autonomy away fromdisabled peoples may force them undergo unwanted medical treatments that theymayor maybe able afford inorder continue receiving NDIs assistance regardlessmedical advice.Thirdly;Thenewlegislative powers given health minister under this bill and billelself is executive aggrandizement in nature. It simultaneously grantsminister newpowers cut participant funding expand use automated decision making with no recourse appeal disregarded of medical expertise. In summary this will only further compound disparities our healthcare system disproportionately effect disabled poor individuals families. It point highlightthatNDS exists giveindividuals rights choice control back disbaled people support fund disabled instead institutionalizes eugenics based. If leave most vulnerable behind die does say about us nation? For clarification No Ai was used creation submission letter.
