To whom it may concern I do not want the ndis cuts. As an ndis participant i use my social and community participation budget to have assistance to get me and powered wheelchair to my hydrotherapy sessions, to specialist appointments, to GP appointments, to visit and support my elderly father, to visit and support my son who has autism. If im lucky I occassionally have some hours to have support to go out of my house to meet a friend for a catch up. When you cut my hours by 30-50% you cut my ability to attend my therapies, to see and support my family. You increase my pain by limiting my ability to attend the therapies that help me.I used to vote labour. How can I ever do this again? These cuts are an attack on every disabled person in the country. I used to watch trump as he systematically destroyed America and think thank god I live in Australia, safe from people like him. I can no longer say that.I appeal to those of you who still have a heart and soul to stop these cuts from going through.I agree something needs to done to stop and prevent large and small scale fraud but there are other ways of bringing in revenue so you can continue to support all vulnerable Australians appropriately.Please, do something now, before it is too late.Sincerely
