• What does the NDIS mean for you right now?

• The NDIS provides me with income to pay my living costs. I pay my taxes and also have helped participants for over ten years to live as independently as possible.

• How do you feel about the proposed changes to the NDIS Act?

• I fear the changes will impact my personal living situation immensely as I believe these changes will cause me to loose hours with my participants due to the new legislation.

• Do you feel these changes have been explained clearly enough?

No they have not.

• What would these changes mean for you, your family, friends, carers, or community?

It would decrease my hours or possible cut them all giving me no income. It will affect my whole family as we are all ndis support workers.

• What would happen if your social and community supports were reduced or removed?

• It would cut my income by 3/4 as this is my main income of work.
