National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

Submission 2164

Dear Senators

Please do not pass the NDIS Amendment Bill in its current form. It removes rights, reduces choice and control, and will hurt people with disabilities in our community. There’s no foundation of supports available now. Where can over (\text{2}^{*}\times{}{3}{ }^{{-}}5{-}{7}-8+9=240_ {0}_ {-}-{0} particpants find essential services? The revised evaluation system categorizes individuals rigidly but doesn’t account that every disability affects differently each person. Cutting off social & community assistance halts employment opportunities as well as visits from loved ones or healthcare needs like doctor’s visits. This is an unfortunate reduction, compelling those who are disabled into staying indoors while lacking necessary support.
