I am autistic / a parent / a carer / an NDIS participant / a family member / an ally, and I am writing to share my concerns about the NDIS Future Generations Bill 2026. The NDIS is profoundly important to me as it enables my children to access essential support services; assists in maintaining independence; provides necessary therapies & daily assistance that supports our overall well-being& ability function effectively.I worry proposed changes could make accessing genuine needed harder especially concerning reduced choice control lack clarity funding cuts increased stress impacts autism reassessments falling through gaps For many familiesdisabled peopleNDIS not luxury It’s safety wellbeing participation education mental health everyday life Ask senate carefully consider real-life impact these may have disabledcarersfamilies reforms should be guided consultation disability community protect rights dignity and needs of participants thank consideration
