Before nolis, the future and goals, getting out of bed, none of that was even possible. Having nolis support means I have support eating, showering, getting out of bed. Living a life, though limited, being able to live a little and not be stuck in bed alone everyday. it means I get to do things able bodied people take for granted every day like be pushed in my wheelchair to the park go to shops with help physio pain stretches exercises For going parks is daily thing it extraordinary privilege People cannot understand nor comprehend how special small we achieve are us All activities home functioning getting out of bed shower all which on own. The ndis has allowed family back work stay me 7 days week ndis helped doing love painting listening music concerts access vital supports physio psychologist On top thanks ndis support been art business sell paintings give community income taxes Without would paint safe need physical mental supports mean could financially contribute society.I feel terrified about proposed NDIS act Do anything explained clearly news made cry everyday experience lot ableism comments posts scheme horrible mean scared Do treated human most time by society absolutely terrified lose team taken years stable really there support needs only small businesses who care put their all Abused past big corporations number too They didn’t know person cared wellbeing at felt mistreated Finally reached place where every working caring always comes works supports idea losing teams because they small businesses terrifying Heard will no more small businesses allow lose all support team DO NOT comfortable having someone random house showering touching trust from terrible experiences DO NOT feel safe those people clear not care health happiness Everyone understands disabilities and needs above beyond before From being bed ridden have a small art business purpose life.Having nolis means completely bed riden wont have the to
