To whom it may concern, I am writing to provide a full account of my brother’s life, his disability, and the essential role NDIS supports play allowing him live safely, dignity & w/ purpose. is born cerebral palsy affecting entire right side body + intellectual disabilty From moment entered world shaped barriers most will never face When was born first words spoken doctor were put away walkaway My mother refused She believed deeply every person righ tlife walked out appointment holding is hand determined give him deserved later had me from th时刻 forward &&,and have walked through together Growing up birth means you do not get starting point There roadmap clear medical plan predictable progression Unlike who become disabled later life—who “before” after—children born already fighting space access recognition has lived his entire within reality as sister my life been like other siblings I grew quickly learned look myself Over time as parents passed away became not only but also responsibility remaining family many ways child Am advocate historian knows best At same time own children he rights owns life home just work full-time while ensuring safe supported spent early childhood Spastic Centre boarding school where learned learn walk in world once tried lock asylum baby He returned around age ten attended until Grade 9 Seton College Mt Gravatt Our mom decided both us would soon finished school began working Salvation Army workshop which at time supported young people with disability loved doing woodwork However years later the Salvation Army shifted focus drug alcohol rehabilitation received phone call blue telling that —along disable friends no longer job Thankfully found Swara sheltered Dutton Park where could feel purpose belonging pride now for more than days per week instead five. Swara remains one of most meaningful

parts of his life, along with being able to do his own food shopping and access the community with his support workers who keep him safe. Today, is in his sixties.He has one functioning arm/leg now requiring wheelchair because cerebral palsy winning fight.No doctor tell me how he will age or what expect.Only God knows that.What know about: is supported by NDIS can age dignifiedly,safely,and enjoy good life. lives home independently with full-time care from SIL arrangement including plan manager and coordinator essential make sure remain successful participant.Eats assistance calls assistance attends gym participate community activities like grocery store movies visiting family attend Swara using specialized wheel chair taxi.Life fullest possible give but only NDIS makes it happen. popular misunderstanding “community access” means going out parties entertainment.It is safety inclusion basic human rights people cannot walk outside decide where go.They must wait someone help them safely world window opportunity small without support closes entirely. supports coordination Plan Management OT Physios are crucial needs complex lifelong constantly changing disability permanent vulnerability increases every year professional oversight supports delivered safely effectively. almost entire life raising children managing household caring brother marriage suffered weight responsibilities done everything can for over 46 years alone.NDIS reason continue living independence, safety dignity respectfully request continues fund supports requires including Support Coordination Plan Management OT physiotherapy ensure meet quality of life protected.Thank you taking time understand ’’ story.Sincerely,Loving Sister
