Submission 2319
To Committee Secretary Community Affairs Legislation Committee
Inquiry into the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment Securing the
NDIS For\nFuture generations bill (submission number omitted“). My specific concerns relate to clauses:
- EM, section Section
5.*3.:Budget reset for social & community participation supports: “This measure should not be considered as undergone consultation.” - EM Section
5.*3.: Changes reasonable necessary support measures were not subject. to specific consultations.“ Re EM, Section5, *3.: Budget reset for social & community participation supports: I possess over a hundred pages documenting evidence supporting lifelong disabilities from:- Psychiatrists,
- Psychologists and nurses,
- Occupational Therapists;
- Family Carer My wife has cared significantly at her own health costs due to multiple hospital admissions and discharge documentation.
My approved plan demonstrates significant disability evidence consistent with guidelines used consistently. I believe proper individual needs have been consulted. budget revision must follow after thorough consultation completed.
Re EM ,section
5,***3.``: changes in reasonable necessary support programs reduced suicide ideation risk greatly decreased visits mental crisis events. In five years prior 2013 spent months in hospitals with frequent stays since NDIS plan my mental stability improved requiring only one visit per year lasting four weeks annually because of current NDIS supports hope surviving life-long battle.

The fact that consultation has not happened regarding changes to reasonable and necessary supports could place me at significant risk if these nessessary supports were removed. Please allow proper time and process to properly consider my support and budget as a permantly seriously disabled citizen. My NDIS plan means I can live a basic safe life. Yours in hope and considerable distress
