Dear Committee Secretary

Re: Inquiry into the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment

(Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

I would like to oppose Securing the NDIS Bill.

I have experienced first-hand the unfairness of genuine disabled person/s who have been victimised despite data collection that sympathises with their disability and the need for 24/7 genuine one-on-one care.

This Bill, if enforced, will take away the rights of most genuine disabled persons who need the specialised care. The NDIS has already showcased that with the participants that I have witnessed in this situation. Despite the amount of support evidence supplied to the NDIS, I have seen genuine disabled participants lose their funding, and other participants with less disability receive more funding.

It’s unfair, and hence my written request to oppose this, Bill.

Yours faithfully
