National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026
Submission 2569
To whom it may concern,
My name is and I live in Nimbin NSW. I am writing in opposition to the new NDIS Bill. I am a carer for a young man named with autism, cerebral palsy, bi polar, and OCD. Having the NDIS has meant , who before NDIS was living in squalor, and was isolated in the community, has meant he finally has someone to support his ongoing mental health issues that are crippling, including depression, mania, inability to walk long distances and someone to stem the incessant thoughts that loop in his head. To not have this support would mean would solely rely on me, and I’m seventy and in poor health. I worry about what would become of if support was withdrawn, and I’m also concerned as to the dire impact on carers like myself. The bill in its current form is harmful to many Australians like and many carers like myself and should not be passed by parliament. has no family to take care of him, please reconsider these drastic cuts if you care about Australians, thankyou
