NDIS Amendment
This amendment to the NDIS will needlessly harm disabled people. It will make life worse for everyone, not just disabled people. It means that disabled people can’t contribute to the economy (which will make the economy weaker).
It is in no way easy to get onto the NDIS as it is. My GP has never successfully gotten someone onto the program. You have to know someone who’s on it to actually know how to get the help you need.
More and more people are becoming disabled every day. COVID is still in our airspaces and we are doing little to stop it. While it is less deadly than it was, it is giving Long COVID to very high numbers of people. This is only going to become a worse problem as time goes on.
Please reconsider.
Disabled people have suffered enough.
