Submission on the NDIS Amendment Bill

My main concern about this Bill is:

How many people could literally lose their lives from passing this Bill

Disability and support workers losing their jobs which would heavily affect their lively hoods but also those of the people they are supporting

People living with disabilities are already having to jump through so many hoops, this being put into place is just disgraceful and unfair

It would be so shameful and inhumane to cut funding to things like mental health care and community access from participants.
One example from my experience :
A Very close friend of mine has been living with chronic fatigue and has been unable to work for 2 + years. They rely heavily on funding and support to complete daily life tasks and pay their rent. I understand the type of funding they are working with is already dire, to cut it even more would be dreadful and so dangerous to their livelihood, mental and physical health.
What I want the committee to understand is: This is not ok!! Participants deserve justice and funding. They deserve to have their basic needs met and to not have to exist in conditions worse than already in place. Passing this bill would be unfair and inconsiderate. People will literally die if support is taken away!! Do not pass this Bill!
My position on this Bill: ☐ I do not support it
