Inquiry: The National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future
Generations) Bill 2026.
SUBMISSION BY
Please do not pass the NDIS Amendment Bill in its current form. The plans to slash thousands of people with a disability from the scheme is a blunt and brutal way to rein in the cost blowouts from a broken system instead of fixing the system. There are so many examples of rorting by outsourcing to providers who over-charge for their services. The changes should start here first. Not by removing the rights of thousands of people deserving of the ongoing support of our community. I’m in despair and about how awful the harm of this NDIS Amendment Bill will be in its current form.
