Submission 2996 — Name Withheld — NDIS Future Generations Bill

National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

Submission 2996

To whom it may concern,

I am writing in opposition of the NDIS bill.

I believe the bill will result in harm to vulnerable people with disabilities and requires extensive consultation with disability advocacy groups before proceeding any further.

A holistic approach is vital to the wellbeing of disabled people; a minister should never have sole power to determine funding for supports or consider types of support in isolation.

Requiring registration for NDIS support people would exclude a vast number of support providers who currently provide culturally-safe care for people who would otherwise not have access to vital care.

The proposed bill will directly and indirectly result in inequity, danger and death for disabled people.

Yours faithfully,
