The NDIS is the reason my brother-in-law is still alive today and thriving more than he has during the majority of his time as a non-verbal, disabled wheelchair user, who requires 24/7 close care to .survive.
I also know many people who are supported under the NDIS in other ways and sadly, not one person I have ever met under the NDIS receives adequate or sufficient support to meet their needs, despite providing plenty of evidence to the already strict NDIS.
The thought of disabled folk losing even more dignity, autonomy and healthcare due to this bill is sickening.
Protect the NDIS.
