National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026
Submission 3165
I oppose the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026
Firstly, the name of this bill is misleading & doesn’t represent what it’s actually doing which is important for informed consent specifically for a vulnerable population.
The bill wants to give powers to political members who don’t have the understanding of what it’s like to work on the grounds.
The bill will cut funding which will put vulnerable people at risk.
It’s inhumane and vulnerable people have a right to independence & safety in the community.
Not enough time has been given to let this bill actually be processed, understood & communicated efficiently in the community.
No promises of alternative services or funding for people being removed from the scheme.
This will have an impact on the public health system & Ambulance system & will be detrimental to all Australians.
